Oregon Expungements
2022 has brought forth significant changes in Oregon expungement law. Senate Bill 397, which went into effect on January 1, 2022, creates the opportunity for many previously ineligible convictions to now become eligible for expungement. It also eliminates the $281 filing fee.
Although many of the programs listed below offer free legal services for the assembling and filing of your expungement paperwork, you are usually expected to cover the $33.00 criminal record check fee (made payable to the Oregon State Police), and in some cases, the costs associated with fingerprint cards.
